We have been asked many times about this beautiful creation of Clare's which was demonstrated on create and craft so we thought we would give you all the information and pictures to help you create your own.
Your instructions and templates are below;
Easel
1. Take 1 piece of card 8”x4” score in half and fold to make base card.
2. Score and fold one side in half again.
Base for Drawer
1. Take one piece of A4 card and cut to A4 x 6 1/4”.
2. Following the template score and fold on the dotted lines, cut the solid Lines and remove the hatched parts.
3. Fold the back up and the tabs in. Fold the wrap round gluing all the tabs as you go.
Tip: To help the drawer slide in easier, with the long side toward you fold up the back and glue the left hand tab, fold over the wrap and glue the top flap, next tuck in the tab from the top then glue the right hand tab, lastly fold up the right hand side and glue.
4. Glue the base of the card (above) to the top of the wrap.
Tip: Have the back tab and the top when sticking the card on will help the drawer go in and out easier.
1. Take 1 piece of card 6 5/8” x 6 5/8”.
2. Score and fold at 1 3/8” all the way round.
3. Cut as shown by the solid line below.
4. Glue tabs to make a box.
5. Insert box into wrap.
Tip: To finish off your drawer easel card, why not make a base 4 ½” Square plain card, mat with patterned paper and glue to bottom of drawer base.
Your drawer easel card is now complete.
Decorate as you desire.
